The Manor House Award

Foundation Awards > The Manor House Award

A group of Manor House old boys, led by Nick Sanderson has got together to create a bursary to support promising boys with places at Manor House. The scheme forms part of the wider, means-tested Foundation Awards programme and is aimed at boys who could not otherwise enjoy a Tonbridge education

The scheme

You can download a leaflet about the Manor House Foundation Award.

Timing

We aim to offer the first award in 2010, or before.

Finance

You can download the Manor House newsletter here.

Initially, we aim to raise enough to fund one ongoing Foundationer place, sharing the cost of fees with the school itself. Beyond this, we want to expand the fund until we can offer a Foundation Award each year.

How you can help

We need donations. If you are a friend of the House - an OT, parent or past parent - and you share our belief that what Manor House has to offer is so good it should be shared a little more widely (and that this in turn will benefit the House), then please give and help to grow the fund.

The Manor House group

The Manor House Foundation Awards scheme is led by: Nick Sanderson (1972-77) Chairman, Tony Borrett (1955-60), Hugh Carson 1960-64), E C Heathcote (1958-63), James Hodgson Housemaster and Nigel Reid (1971-75)
